Agricultural exports can grow almost 3 times - up to $1 billion in Bashkiria

The volume of exports of agricultural products from Bashkortostan can increase almost 3 times compared to 2023 to $1 billion, said the head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Agroexport, Dmitry Krasnov.

“It is clear that we will set executable plans and achievable indicators in the region of $0.5 billion for Bashkortostan. But if you dream and are very ambitious, then, in our opinion, if investors learn to allocate at least 20-30% of their funds to the development of exports, the export figure could reach more than $1 billion,” he said.

Dmitry Krasnov recalled that the main share of agricultural exports from Bashkiria currently consists of sunflower and rapeseed oil, cake, sugar, and wheat.

In addition, it is possible to increase export supplies of milk powder, beef and offal, sausages and semi-finished meat products, pork, alcohol, and honey.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Bashkortostan exporters can receive subsidies.
