Bashkortostan delegation took part in the congress of literary magazines of the Turkic world
In the capital of Kazakhstan Astana under the aegis of the International organisation of Turkic culture TURKSOY the Vth congress of Turkic literary magazines was held where heads of literary editions from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and also the Russian republics – Bashkortostan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Tatarstan and Yakutia took part. Our republic was presented by members of the Union of Journalists and the Union of Writers RB Marsel Salimov and Gulnaz Kutueva, and also the representative of the Ministry of Culture RB in TURKSOY Akhat Salikhov.
The secretary general of TURKSOY Dyusen Kaseinov, the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Republic Darkhan Mynbay, the chairman of the Euroasian Union of Writers Yakup Omaroglu, the chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Nurlan Orazalin and other figures made reports to the participants of the international forum. At the congress sessions issues of language, translation, strengthening of international contacts of Turkic editions were discussed.
The known writer-satirist and poet-humorist Marsel Salimov made an interesting and substantial report telling about experience of carrying out of the International Translation Competition «Ak Torna».
Marsel Salimov said about necessity of annual translation almanacs publishing with originals which took part in the competition. Confirming these words of the speaker, Dyusen Kaseinov assured that TURKSOY will render assistance in carrying out of the International Translation Competition «Ak Torna», and urged delegates of the congress to take active participation in it.
