State of emergency is imposed in 19 areas of Bashkiria because of frequent forest fires
In 19 areas of Bashkortostan the state of emergency is imposed. The corresponding order of the republican Government is already signed.
The last days critical situation with forest fires developed in Abzelilovsky, Askinsky, Baimaksky, Belokataisky, Beloretsky, Burzyansky, Gafuriisky, Duvansky, Zianchurinsky, Zilairsky, Ishimbaisky, Karaidelsky, Kiginsky, Kugarchinsky, Mechetlinsky, Nurimanovsky, Salavatsky, Uchalinsky and Haibullinsky areas.
Thus, only for the last two days the total area of forests which were destroyed by fire exceeded 79 hectares in the region.
At present four forest fires which total area makes 15,6 hectares are active in Zianchurinsky, Kugarchinsky and Burzyansky areas. Two of four fires are now contained, the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs.
The Ministry of Forestry RB is entrusted to make ready all means for forest fires suppression and to account species of plants, which suffered from fire. The Ministry of Ecology is assigned to consider possibility of forbidding hunting for the period of the state of emergency in the specified areas, and also to provide fire safety in especially protected natural territories of republican value.
Administrations of municipal areas should create emergency response centres on forest fires suppression, make fire line plowing of lands near settlements and to render assistance to forestries and bodies, subordinated to the Ministry of Forestry RB in the organisation of fire extinguishing.
The bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Measures RF are recommended to organise response teams for suppression of forest fires threatening to settlements and economic entities.
This year from the beginning of fire-hazardous season 166 forest fires occurred in Bashkiria on the total area of 880 hectares, the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB reports. The main causes of emergency in forest still there is careless handling of fire and dry thunder-storms.
