The stand «Ufa - City of Aviation Technologies» is demonstrated at Farnborough Airshow


In the Great Britain, in the suburb of London, the largest Farnborough International Airshow-2012 opened the day before. This year Russia by quantity of companies-participants takes the second place after the USA: about 60 domestic companies are presented at the airshow, 19 of them with military goods.

This year the incorporated delegation from Bashkortostan takes part in the airshow under the aegis of Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB (CCI) for the first time.

The stand «Ufa — City of Aviation Technologies» with total area of 80 square metres presents such companies as UMPO, Kumertausky Aviation Industrial Enterprise, JSC “Ufa Assembly Production Association”, "Hydraulics", Ufa State Aviation Technical University, LLC "ЕСМ", Institute For Metals Superplasticity Problems of RAS, NP “Technopark of Aviation Technologies”, JSC "Plakart" and others.

As the president of Commerce and Industry Chamber RB Yuriy Pustovgarov marked, this trip purpose is to organise perspective works on accessories manufacturing for aviation companies both from Russia and foreign countries, to present technological possibilities of our companies and the Centre of High-Precision Mechanical Engineering in Ufa.

CCI RB plans to carry on negotiations with a number of companies at the airshow, including the industrial corporation "Oboronpom" and Indian corporation HAL, colleagues from the USA, Germany, Mexico and other countries, the CCI press-service informs.

Republican companies also took part in a formal party of the Russian delegation on behalf of the state corporation "Rostechnologies" and the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation.
