Exhibition “Gas, Oil, Technologies-2012” is declared open in Ufa


The XX international exhibition “Gas, Oil, technologies-2012”, which is considered one of the biggest oil-chemical exhibitions in Russia, was declared open in Ufa today.

The President RB Rustem Khamitov, the President of Russian Union of Oil-Gas Producers Gennady Shmal, representatives of Russian Ministry for power engineering and many other VIPs took part in solemn opening ceremony.

“Russia holds the first place in the world by gas stocks and we are found in Top 10 by oil mining, we have much to be proud of but we still have to work hard in this direction since this is our future” – Rustem Khamitov said – “Big events in this sphere occur in our Republic one by one. Thus, the forum “Big Chemistry” has taken place here last week and today we are meeting “Gas, Oil, Technologies-2012”. All these events are the links of one chain”.

Leading companies from 30 Russian regions and foreign countries take part in the exhibition, presenting modern equipment and the newest technologies in sphere of oil and gas industry. Bashkortostan is presented by such companies as “BASHNEFT”, “Soda”, “Synthesis-Caoutchouc”, “Caustic”, “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT”, “POLYEF” and others. Six scientific-practical conferences, numerous seminars and presentations make up the exhibition’s business program and about 12 thousand specialists from nearby regions, Western Siberia, Far East, CIS and other foreign countries intend to visit it.

The exhibition is organized by Bashkir Exhibition Company, Trade-Industry Chamber RB with assistance of Russian Ministry for power-engineering, Government RB and Ministry for industry and innovational policy RB.

Exhibition will work till May 25.
