Pupil from Ufa has become silver prize-winner of the international chemistry Olympiad


Pupil from Ufa Andre Utkin (school N114) has won silver medal at the 46th international Mendeleev’s chemistry Olympiad for pupils, held in Astana (Kazakhstan), the Ministry for education RB reported.

112 young chemists from 18 countries have taken part in it – Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Kirghizia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldavia, Estonia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Hungary, Georgia, Turkey, France and Kazakhstan.

Scientists from Moscow State University by M. Lomonosov, National University of Donetsk, Byelorussian State University, University by Kopernik, “Nazarbaev University” and Kazakh National University by al-Farabi estimated works of the pupils.

Andre Utkin is also a prize-winner of the final stage of all-Russian pupil Olympiad-2012.
