
Bashkir agrarians provided the highest growth of milk manufacture in Russia
The record growth in milk manufacture and cattle livestock is registered in Russia since the beginning of 2012. The highest growth is provided by Republic of Bashkortostan – plus 21,4%, the press-service of the Ministry for agriculture of Russia reported.
Dagestan (+16,5%), Kabardino-Balkaria (+12,2%), Voronezh (+15,1%), Sverdlovsk (+12%), Belgorod (+10,2%) and Vladimir (+10%) regions are also called the leaders. 64 Russian regions increased milk manufacture in a whole.
Besides, positive trends in cattle-breeding, reached in 2011, are preserved in the first quarter of 2012.
Within the period between January and March milk manufacture in Russia is increased by 279 thousand tons, amounting to 6 million 482 thousand tons – by 4,5% more than in 2011.
Cattle livestock grew by 223 thousand heads, including cows – by more than 195 thousand.
Such growth is registered for the first time for the last 22 years. Positive dynamics is also preserved in hog breeding and poultry farming: pork manufacture (in live weight) is increased by 4,2% and poultry – by 16,3%.
