Innovational technologies in sphere of motherhood and childhood protection were introduced to participants of the Mothers Forum in Ufa


The “round table” “Innovational technologies in sphere of motherhood and childhood protection” has taken place in Ufa yesterday within the frames of the V all-Russian Mothers Forum. The “round table” was held at the Republican perinatal center.

The deputy Minister for health protection RB Ralida Shakirova told what was doing in the Republic in sphere of obstetrics and what modern information technologies were used in sphere of motherhood and childhood protection. The deputy Minister has mentioned in particular that the work on getting the objective information about health of pregnant women and newly born babies is organized quite well with the help of modern computer system and specialized software in internet. Thus, the internet system “Monitoring of pregnant women” is designed by the Republican perinatal center and used since 2006. The collection of data and information exchange is done thanks to the centralized database, located on the special server in internet. All maternity centers, maternity hospitals and perinatal centers have computers with internet access. Besides, such centers have the specialists, responsible for data input about health of pregnant women, analysis of the incoming information and for consultations on further tactics for child birth. Thereby the complete electronic database for every pregnant woman is under formation in the Republic.

All abovementioned contributes to good dynamics on the index of birth rate in the Republic, Ralida Shakirova said. According to her the index of maternal death rate for the last five years dropped 3,6 times in Bashkortostan from 25,3 in 2006 to 7 in 2010. The index of infant death rate dropped by 36% from 10,9 to 6,9.
