Only strong state unitary enterprises will stay afloat in Bashkiria
In the foreseeable future just about 20 efficiently working state unitary enterprises will stay afloat in Bashkiria and all other state unitary enterprises will be either turned into joint-stock companies or bankrupted.
“Such form of the state companies as state unitary enterprises has had its day since it is not enough convenient from the point of view of management. The state has to remain an efficient owner, possessing efficient instruments. It is clear that there are some state budget institutions, aimed at execution of definite state functions for the public contracts. State unitary enterprise is the company, which has all permissions to run active business activity but here any abuses are possible in case the strict public control is absent. So only strong and efficiently working state unitary enterprises will continue functioning in the Republic. As far as I know, Republican authorities intend to keep 19 efficiently working state unitary enterprises in Bashkiria” — the Minister for economic development RB Eugene Mavrin has reported at the online conference, held by “The Public Electronic Newspaper” yesterday.
