Bashkir Committee for UNESCO Affairs starts “East European Dialogue”
The committee RB for UNESCO Affairs starts the international action “Bashkortostan and Eastern Europe: dialogue and cooperation”. The delegation of the committee has left for Europe yesterday. The press-service of committee for UNESCO Affairs reports the representatives of Bashkortostan will visit Poland, Czechia, Austria and Hungary within the period between the 1st and the 10th of November, 2011. The project is realized with the assistance of the Russian Commission for UNESCO Affairs within the frames of the governmental decree “The plan of actions for realization of the Communique – the Agreement concerning cooperation between the Government RB and UNESCO” and within the frames of the international actions, initiated by the committee RB for UNESCO Affairs. Heads, pedagogues and students of the educational institutions from Ufa, Sterlitamac, Salavat, Baimak and Meleuz – the activists of UNESCO movement in Republic of Bashkortostan – are taking part in the trip.
The program of the trip provides for holding of the presentations of Bashkortostan, accompanied by photo-exhibitions, for our foreign friends and compatriots, living in these countries. The meetings with the representatives of the national commissions for UNESCO Affairs and of the UNESCO associated schools with the purpose of studying their experience on preservation of cultural and natural heritage are scheduled too. The representatives of Bashkir delegation will become acquainted with the objects of UNESCO World Heritage.
