460 pilgrims will leave Bashkortostan for hajj this year


The meeting re organization of hajj for Bashkir Muslims has taken place in Ufa yesterday with the participation of the Chairman of the Council for state-inter-religious relations under the President of Bashkortostan Vyacheslaw Pyatkov, representatives of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights in Bashkortostan, the Ministry of health protection RB, Ufa airport’s border control dept, the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RB and the heads of the tourist companies, specializing in hajj organization, as the religious Republican portal “RISALYAT-Message” reports.

The employee of the charity hajj-fund under the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia Rustem Gataullin reported that only the air travels were planned in 2011 for the pilgrims. The air route will be Ufa-Istanbul-Medina. According to him every pilgrim will be supplied with the bracelet with the GPS-navigator. In this case one can locate the pilgrim’s whereabouts in any unforeseen situation. Besides, every pilgrim will be supplied with the mobile phone with the alarm button and preliminary installed home number. If the pilgrim is lost in the crowd, he can easily report about this accident to his curator and either a taxi will be sent for him or the authorities will communicate with him by phone. All travelers will be supplied with hot meals and with the standard pack of things, necessary for making hajj.

The guides, having special training and mastering Arab language and the medics will accompany the pilgrims.

100 citizens RB will leave for making hajj from the charity hajj-fund under the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia and 360 – from other tourist companies. The departure is appointed on October 25.
