Rustem Khamitov paid a visit to UNPP “MOLNIA”
On September 2 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov paid a visit to JSC “Ufa scientific-production enterprise “MOLNIA”. The enterprises specializes in designing and production of electronic ignition and automatic control systems for aviation engines and in after-sale service. Spark plugs and ignition units and electronic equipment for management and control of gas-turbine aviation engines, optic pyrometric converters and ionization sensors and consumer goods are the main sorts of the wares, manufactured by the enterprise. “MOLNIA” also produces the equipment, delivered for motor-car plants, enterprises of fuel-energy and building complexes and housing-communal services. The concern “Aviation Equipment under the state corporation “Russian Technologies” is the largest shareholder of the enterprise.
In the course of the visit the President RB visited the plant’s museum. After that he inspected the assemblies and departments of the company. Besides, Rustem Khamitov watched the workshop, where the only in Russia production of high-voltage mica-paper condensers for aviation ignition systems was located. There are only three such productions in the world – in the USA, France and Bashkortostan. The experimental-research department, where the plant’s output passed various tests before shipment, was also demonstrated to the President RB. At the same time the equipment, meant for production of such wares, was made still in Soviet times. At present time it is considered obsolete.
In the end of the visit the President RB has held the gathering with the enterprise’s leadership, where problems and prospects in development of the company were under discussion.
“My aim now is to understand and find out what happens here and what problems you face now. I have to say right now that we intend to help such production as yours. Unfortunately because of many reasons normal relations between the Government and directors of our enterprises are absent. So let’s discuss the weak spots of the enterprise today and think, how can we find the way out of this situation, how can you increase production volumes, how to raise the salaries of your workers etc”.
“I’ve seen the general figures. I can see these figures look better than at the enterprises I visited yesterday. Nonetheless it is just the beginning and we can’t be satisfied with such figures and have to think how this work can be improved” – Rustem Khamitov said.
