The private collection of Catherine Rozdestvenskaya
Photo-exhibition “The Private Collection” of a popular photo-painter Catherine Rozdestvenskaya (Saint-Petersburg) is opened at the National Museum RB today.
The project represents the fantasies of the author to the theme of well-known fine art works. The canvasses of well-known painters receive the second life in her studio – Sergey Bezrukov, Theodore Bondarchuk, Olga Cabo, Oscar Kuchera, Vladimir Spivakov and many other stars of the country are demonstrated as the heroes of works of the famous masters of different epochs, stunning by their similarity with the originals. As the employees of the National Museum RB reported to “Bashinform”, earlier the photos from the series “The private collection” were demonstrated only on the pages of the magazine “The Caravan of Histories”.
For the first time the works of Catherine Rozdestvenskaya were demonstrated in Moscow in 2002. The next exhibitions have taken place in Kiev, Odessa, Nizhniy Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and other Russian cities.
Such exhibition is held in Ufa for the first time.
