The first Halal polyclinic is opened in Ufa
Opening of the first private Halal polyclinic has taken place in Ufa today. This is the first such medical institution in the city and along with the traditional medical services it offers special procedures for Muslims. The chairman of the Council for religious affairs under Government RB Vyacheslaw Pyatkov, Chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB, Mufti Nurmuchamet Nigmatullin, his deputy Aup Bibarsov, the chief surgeon of Ufa administration health protection dept Airat Kunafin and the chairman of Halal standard committee under the Clerical Muslim Dept RB Timur Shangareev have taken part in the opening ceremony.
“Opening of such medical institution is the memorable event for the whole Muslim community RB” – Vyacheslaw Pyatkov said – “Opening of this polyclinic is the evidence that the constitutional right for religious freedom is realized in Bashkortostan in full measure. Now the citizens of Ufa, preaching Islam, may make use of the medical services within the frames of the Islamic canons and I am certain such clinics will start appearing in Bashkortostan in the nearest future”.
According to Timur Shangareev in the nearest future new Halal medical institutions will be opened in Bashkortostan. The central clinical hospital in the town of Utchaly is the next in turn and as soon as the Halal clinics will be opened on the base of the state medical institutions the Muslims may make use of their services free.
