Financing of summer rest for kids was discussed by Government RB

Financing of summer rest for kids in 2010 was discussed in the course of the meeting of the Republican three-sided labor relations regulation commission, held by the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of labor and population social protection Fidus Yamaltdinov.

The main problem here is that beginning from 2010 the Russian Social Insurance Fund will retire from financing the children’s summer rest and Russian Government already offered the regions to find money for kids self-dependently.

The deputy chairman of the Trade-Union Federation RB Lenara Ivanova reports the means for children’s summer rest in our Republic will be now formed at the expense of the Republican budget, municipal budgets, means of organizations and trade-unions and parents’ fees. At present time the budget RB reserved 400 million rubles for organization of children’s summer rest in 2010. But this sum is one third less than it was appropriated by the Russian Social Insurance Fund in 2009.

Along with the means, reserved by the Republican budget our Republic will continue financing the regional children’s rest programs in 2010, such as: the presidential program “Children of Republic of Bashkortostan”, the Republican program “Prevention of child neglect and juvenile delinquency” and the program for rest and recovery of children-orphans, left without parental care. Taking participation of municipal budgets into account the sum, appropriated for these programs, exceeds 200 million rubles.

“Successful realization of these programs is of paramount importance” – Lenara Ivanova said – “Because about 256 thousand kids in Bashkortostan are found in a difficult living situation now and really need state support”.
