"Antivirus marketing" is a remedy against the crisis and epidemics
Multimedia Journalism Eurasia 2009 International Conference has ended its work in Kazan.
Scientific conferences in Russia are the source of tendencies in different spheres. Multimedia Journalism Eurasia 2009 is no exception, although it stands apart. The conference took place in Kazan for the third time. This year the stress was laid on strategic PR, sports marketing, media projects in innovative format of mass media development of the East and the West.
It has been found out that Bashkortostan is on the stage of creating professional tourist portal of the republic, which is able to make complex promotion of the territory's opportunities, Tatarstan is preparing for holding and media coverage of Universiada 2013 and Samara is going through the boom of multimedia technologies in media projects.
This year's conference saw an increase in the number of participating countries: apart from Ukraine, Byelorussia, Tajikistan and Kirghizia, Great Britain participated in the conference for the first time. Russia was represented by 30 key educational institutions and a number of major media companies.
Scientists are known for their unconventional attitude to reality. Thus, researches referred such trends of the year as the global financial crisis and swine flu epidemic to virus marketing programs and suggested their methods of coping with information hysteria — with the help of antivirus marketing.
