One of the Islamic relics – the hair from the beard of the prophet Muhammad –was brought to the forum especially from Tyumen. Once it had been delivered to Russia from Arabia in the XIX century by the merchant Nigmatulla Karmyshakov. This hair, three centimeters long, was put into the silver retort and sent to storage to the local-lore museum of Tyumen. Since the moment of its delivery from Arabia and till nowadays it has never left the territory of Tyumen region.

At present time there are just five hairs of the prophet in the world: two hairs are kept in Istanbul together with some things of the prophet Muhammad, one – in India in the city of Srinagar and other two – in Ufa.
