Radiy Khabirov assessed possibilities of construction industry and transport sector of Bashkiria
Today the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov at the exhibitions "Transport of the Urals", "Construction" and "Real Estate" got acquainted with new projects in the field of construction and transport, examined the expositions of the leading transport enterprises and construction organizations of the republic.
The Ural Transport exhibition is the largest regional industry exposition in the country. It annually brings together the largest market players — road construction organizations, manufacturers of machinery and equipment, domestic and foreign car manufacturers dealers, and creators of technologies and objects of road transport infrastructure and services.
In the open area in front of VDNKh-Expo SUE, Bashavtotrans presented two new passenger buses, among them the electric bus of JSC NEFAZ. General Director of Bashavtotrans Nadir Samiev told the Head of the Region that 60 new buses of the NefAZ brands and "Vector Next" entered the popular routes the other day in Ufa.
The Head of the Republic got acquainted with municipal and road equipment samples, and representatives of Bashkiravtodor told him about new technologies in road construction.
Leading construction companies have displayed their expositions in the exhibition complex itself. In a conversation with the heads of large developers, Radiy Khabirov asked about the plans to develop new Ufa micro-districts. He drew particular attention to the fact that the construction of residential buildings and neighborhoods should be carried out together with the construction of new schools and kindergartens; according to him, road infrastructure, mandatory improvement of courtyards with the presence of comfortable and modern children's and sports grounds should be provided.
On the site of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan was shown models of the future Wrestling Palace and the Ural-Arena volleyball complex.
At the Russian Railways stand, Radiy Khabirov discussed plans for constructing the Ufa railway ring with the head of the Kuibyshev railway Vyacheslav Dmitriev.
The project's cost, which includes the construction of 19 kilometers of the second line of railway tracks, three bridges, including one across the Belaya River, and two overpasses, should amount to about 6 billion rubles. Construction and installation work is planned to be carried out in 2022-2024. According to preliminary plans, the republic will finance the construction of two overpasses: on the Ufa-airport highway and near the village of Chesnokovka.
Russian Railways is proposed to provide financing for constructing the second tracks and three bridges across the rivers. The project should also give a powerful impetus to the development of the city electric train, providing a circular route around the Ufa Peninsula, as well as speeding up the movement of 10 commuter trains running on the Dema — Shaksha section, and organizing the traffic of eight electric trains from Ufa station to Iglino.
The management of the Ufa International Airport spoke about how the further modernization of the airport complex will proceed. In the next two years, it is planned to combine the three terminals into a single architectural concept and update the central sector of the station square. There are plans to build a new hotel.
Radiy Khabirov recalled that all work on the modernization of the republic's air hub should be completed by 2024, when Ufa would celebrate its 450th anniversary.
