Two universities of Eurasian REC won grants of 4.8 million rubles for personnel training
Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) and Bashkir State University were among the winners of the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Bashkiria reported. Grants from the federal budget are intended for training personnel in the protection and commercialization of the results of intellectual activity. The Aviation University received 2.9 million rubles for these purposes, Bashkir State University — 1.8 million rubles.
Subsidies are intended for the training of students, graduate students, teachers.
The selection of the contestants was carried out as part of the federal project "Development of human capital in the interests of regions, industries and the research and development sector" of the national "Science and Universities" project.
In total, 75 applications were received for the competition, 39 universities were recognized as winners.
The Eurasian Research and Educational Center (REC) in December 2020 became the winner of the competitive selection and received federal support for development. The REC included six universities in Bashkiria, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, three scientific institutions, and 20 organizations of the real sector of the economy. Following the REC activity program, 10 technological projects have been identified in the areas of "New Living Environment", "Digital and "Green" Chemistry, Energy", "Biomedicine and Genetics", "Engineering and Advanced Production Technologies".
