Situation remains disturbing: fourth wave of coronavirus is expected in Bashkiria
The Head of the Rospotrebnadzor department in Bashkiria, Anna Kazak, announced the approach of the fourth wave of coronavirus. According to her, this is influenced by the active migration of people: the return of the adult population to jobs and children — to children's collectives.
"Now children under 14 and people over 65 are ill. The percentage is impressive — up to 81.8% per 100 thousand of the population. These are pupils and students of educational institutions. The coefficients, based on the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation, allow holding mass events from 500 to 1000 people," Anna Kazak said at a briefing session in the government RB on September 20.
She also said that employees of the regional Rospotrebnadzor conduct raid checks in educational institutions to control morning filters and compliance with anti-covid regulations.
The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, instructed the Minister of Education and Science RB, Aibulat Khazhin, to work with schools and prepare proposals for educational institutions' functioning amid the increase in the incidence of diseases among children.
