Austrian specialists were shown largest dairy complexes in Bashkiria
The Austrian Ministry of Agriculture is interested in creating a training and educational center in the republic for the sustainable production of milk and meat with processing. The delegation visited the "Artemida" farm in the Karmaskalinsky district — a large enterprise with a dairy complex and three farms for keeping young Holstein breed.
Employees told the Austrians that they were constantly improving production. For example, the farm was prepared in advance for an abnormally hot summer by installing about 100 fans in the buildings. This helped to minimize milk loss. Today, the complex receives an average of 32 liters from a cow; they plan to milk 35.8 liters in the near future.
In the Aurgazinsky district, the Austrian delegation assessed the scale of implementation of the investment project of one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the region — Urozhay LLC. Agrarians commissioned the first stage of a livestock complex for 1 thousand heads. Over the next few years, it is planned to build cowsheds for more than 5 thousand heads of the dairy herd, calf houses, a milking unit, and other auxiliary premises.
The guests also visited "Roschinsky" State Unitary Enterprise State Farm in the Sterlitamak region, examined the sites in the Alsheevsky region of the republic, and visited the Aksenov agro-industrial college, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.
