Radiy Khabirov discussed issues of supporting entrepreneurship with Boris Titov in Ufa
At the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the Presidential Business Rights Commissioner Boris Titov. They discussed issues of support and development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrei Nazarov, Chairman of the Regional State Committee for Entrepreneurship Niyaz Fazylov, and Business Rights Commissioner in Bashkortostan Flyur Asadullin.
Radiy Khabirov recalled that the republic hit the top ten regions with the lowest level of administrative pressure on business at the end of last year, rising from 11th to 9th place.
"Last year was quite difficult for business due to the coronavirus pandemic. To help entrepreneurs, we have adopted three packages of measures to improve the resilience of the region's economy. The moratorium on scheduled audits, which was introduced at the federal level, also played a substantial role. Moreover, we welcome the decision of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to ban inspections of small businesses in 2022. We will continue to create favorable and safe conditions for entrepreneurs", the Head of the Region said.
Boris Titov congratulated Radiy Khabirov on a high state award — the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
"We know how many programs for entrepreneurship development are being implemented here. One of the most effective regional ombudsmen works in the republic. There are many development institutions, industrial parks, priority development areas, the "Alga" special economic zone, one of the best in the country, the Center for Strategic Research. Therefore, we are even adjusting our federal programs based on the Bashkortostan experience", Boris Titov stressed.
