Putin is going into self-isolation
Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was going into self-isolation due to the identified cases of COVID-19 in his environment.
“Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Vladimir Putin said that in connection with the detected cases of coronavirus in his environment, he must observe the regime of self-isolation for a certain period,” the Kremlin’s press service informs.
Taking this into account, Putin will take part in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, scheduled for this week in Dushanbe, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and a joint meeting of the heads of the CSTO and SCO member states via videoconference.
The day before, the President of Russia, at a meeting with the Paralympians, said that a difficult situation with the coronavirus had developed in his inner circle.
