18 PDA residents have been registered in Bashkiria year to date
Since the beginning of the year, 18 residents have been registered in the Bashkir PDA with a total investment of more than 9 billion rubles. 856 jobs will appear in the new industries, the Ministry of Economic Development RB reported.
Currently, residents of five priority development areas (Kumertau, Belebey, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk, and Beloretsk) are 86 companies implementing investment projects worth 50.8 billion rubles and offering 7 thousand jobs.
Three more potential residents with projects worth 160 million rubles and the creation of 146 jobs are under consideration.
To date, residents have invested 4.9 billion rubles and created 3.4 thousand jobs.
“It is important for the government of the republic to attract additional investments to the region. Federal and regional support measures that are offered to residents serve as a powerful support for the development of production, and new jobs develop the economy of the region,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Rustam Muratov.
“PDAs are created within the boundaries of single-industry towns not only to develop the economy and attract investments but also creating comfortable living conditions for the population of these territories,” Deputy Minister Yekaterina Klikunova said.
