50 novice farmers will receive grants totaling 154 million rubles in Bashkiria
The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria has selected recipients of grants for novice farmers under the Agrostartup program: 50 best business plans have been selected out of 200 applications. 154 million rubles have been allocated for the project this year. Agrostartup grant funds are allocated for the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses”. Any novice rural entrepreneur who has presented a competent farm project can win it. The selection process is transparent — every meeting of the commission is broadcast online, the ministry reminded.
Last year, Agrostartup grants totaled 211.5 million rubles received by 68 novice rural entrepreneurs. One of them was Victoria Khazieva, a beekeeper from the Mishkinsky region. She implemented her investment project for packaging honey with medicinal additives and acquired bee colonies for a grant of 3 million rubles. “700 queen bees have already been bred and sold following the business plan. In general, the payback period of the project is 2.5 years. If I had to rely only on myself, not everything would work out right away. Thanks to the grant, it was possible to shorten the period for the achievement of goals,” the entrepreneur shared.
