Bashkiria Parliament will expand circle of partners for better promotion of law initiatives in State Duma
The State Assembly — Kurultay RB plans to expand the circle of partners and conclude a cooperation agreement with the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region. This was announced by the Chairman of the Republican Parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev.
According to the Speaker of the State Assembly, inter-parliamentary cooperation helps resolve issues related to the current activities of the legislative authorities and promote legislative initiatives at the federal level better.
“Today, we are bound by contractual relations with more than twenty constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” Konstantin Tolkachev said. “We cooperate most closely with our neighbors — Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk, and Orenburg regions”.
The State Assembly — Kurultay RB has already signed cooperation agreements with 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In total, 32 inter-parliamentary agreements are in force today, including agreements, memorandums, and protocols on cooperation development. Two of them are interstate: the protocol of intentions on cooperation with the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the protocol following the visit of the delegation of the Landtag of the Free State of Saxony (FRG).
