Bashkiria received another 18,900 doses of Sputnik V vaccine today
A new batch of Gam-Covid-Vak (Sputnik V) vaccine — 18,900 doses have been delivered to Bashkiria today, June 23.
According to the Ministry of Health of the republic, the drugs will be distributed to the cities of Ufa, Sterlitamak, and Neftekamsk.
The next batch of more than 100 thousand doses, according to preliminary information from the federal center, will be delivered next week, the department said.
Currently, there are 179 COVID-19 vaccination points in the republic, including mobile ones. Opening hours of vaccination points:
— in medical organizations from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm without breaks and days off;
— in shopping centers on weekdays from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm, on weekends (including holidays) from 10:00 to 20:00.
There may be a shortage of vaccines in several points in the near future, and in medical organizations, experts warn. All those willing to get a jab will be included in the waiting list and invited for vaccination as soon as the vaccine arrives at the medical organization.
To date, 462,067 residents of Bashkortostan have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine (94% of the supplied vaccines).
