Radiy Khabirov holds meeting of Human Rights Council
The Council for Human Rights and the Development of Civil Society Institutions is increasingly becoming an independent human rights organization in the republic, which includes professionals, experienced people, who support their spheres of activity, the Head of Bashkortostan said, opening a meeting with members of the HRC. He noted that he receives regular reports on the activities of the Council.
“The year was extremely challenging, we had to make many difficult decisions. Among them there are questions that require clarification for people, especially those related to coronavirus restrictions,” Radiy Khabirov noted.
The Head of the Region said that the sanitary and epidemiological situation continues to be intense, more than 10 regions had made decisions on compulsory vaccination against coronavirus.
On September 19, elections of deputies of the State Duma of the new convocation will take place and this is one of the main political events of the year.
“The active participation of the Council members in the electoral process, their opinion is important here. The elections must be fair and transparent. Let's work actively on this together. The All-Russian Population Census is to take place in autumn, your position is also important here,” Radiy Khabirov said.
