590 thousand residents of Ufa should be vaccinated against coronavirus
In order to form public immunity to the new coronavirus infection, 590 thousand people should be vaccinated in the capital of Bashkiria. Galina Permina, Deputy Head of the Republican Department of Rospotrebnadzor, announced this at a briefing session in the city administration.
As of June 21, 147,333 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the capital. According to the head of the health department of the Ufa mayor's office, Radif Sabirov, this is 12,243 people more than last week.
“116 660 people completed vaccination. The increase for the week was 3,365 people. In the administration of Ufa, 57% of employees — 645 people — were vaccinated,” Sabirov said. “6,777 employees work at municipal enterprises, of which 2,040 people got their jabs (37.3% of the employees to be vaccinated). The increase in vaccinated people in a week was 696 people. 19.8% of employees of city cultural institutions received their vaccine, 28.4% of employees in educational institutions”.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported about mobile vaccination points in Ufa, where an appointment for vaccination is not required.
