Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, highly appreciated Uchaly enterprises activities
During his working trip to Uchaly, the Head of Bashkiria visited the Nikol-Pak plant.
It was created at the former Uchalinsky cardboard-roofing felt plant.
The first to start working here was a cardboard workshop, where roofing cardboard was produced from waste paper, rags, and wood chips.
According to the general director of the enterprise Anatoly Filatov, in 2003-2004, the cardboard production was reconstructed in order to launch a new type of product — paper for corrugation and cardboard for flat layers.
In 2010, the company underwent another modernization; investments amounted to about 38 million euros. The Czech company PAPCEL became the general contractor of the project.
The reconstruction made it possible to increase the productivity of paper machines from 40 to 120 thousand tons of products per year, diversify the range of products, and improve quality.
This, in turn, attracted the attention of new, larger consumers.
In October 2017, a new headbox by Bellmer Vaаhto Machinery Oy was put into operation, more than 100 million rubles were spent on the reconstruction.
It increased the production capacity of the enterprise, allowing it to master new types of products. For 10 years, the number of the team has also grown, and now 173 people work here.
The Head of Bashkortostan highly appreciated the work of all three enterprises, having noted that he had long wanted to visit them personally.
