Radiy Khabirov visited South Ural Weighing Plant
The working trip of the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov to the Beloretsk region began with a visit to the South Ural Weighing Plant (YuUVZ). The enterprise is the largest Russian manufacturer and supplier of electronic industrial scales, strain gauges, weight indicators, reference weights, automated weight metering systems. The plant has been successfully operating in the Russian market for the production of scales since 2003. Over 18 years of operation, the enterprise has become the largest manufacturer of weighing equipment in Russia and one of the most famous in the world.
Radiy Khabirov visited the foundry, assembly shops, the testing laboratory, and the laboratory for the strain gauge production; he was also shown samples of finished products.
The weighing equipment produced by the enterprise is supplied to all regions of Russia and exported to countries such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bulgaria, and Serbia. Since 2020, the South Ural Weight Plant has been the main supplier of weighing equipment to Cuba. Also, the entry into the markets of Latin America is currently being worked out. In 2019, the plant received a subsidy from the republican budget for 534.6 thousand rubles to reimburse part of the transportation costs for its export.
In 2020, the amount of the subsidy received by the enterprise amounted to more than 932 thousand rubles.
“The enterprise itself launched export deliveries; their products showed their demand in the international market. It was a great job. The republic has supported them in the form of subsidies from the budget. The plant's management told about plans to expand production and asks for support. We will discuss how else we can support the enterprise, ” Radiy Khabirov said.
Last year, the volume of shipped products amounted to 135 million rubles, and for five months of this year, 58 million. The plant employs 82 people; the average salary is more than 25 thousand rubles.
