Three bridges and 42 km of roads will be built in Ufa
A meeting of the City Planning Council of the republic was held in Ufa, chaired by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. It discussed the city of Ufa development.
The project for the integrated development of the Ufa neighborhood Zaton was presented by Olga Sarapulova, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ufa Administration. She noted that such districts of Ufa as Dema and Zaton remained reserves for the spatial expansion of the city. Therefore, the key issues in the Zaton development will be transport accessibility and the creation of new jobs and landscaping, renovation and expansion of housing stock, construction of schools, clinics, and arrangement of public spaces.
The draft master plan for the Ufa development provides for constructing three bridges and 42 km of roads. These measures will increase the transport accessibility of the area in the long term. In addition, the development project provides for the construction of large residential complexes in the area of the 8 Marta village, the development of the Zaton-Vostochny and Zaton-Zapadny neighborhoods, the construction of a polyclinic, school, and kindergartens, and improvement of the central Akhmetov street.
