USATU and Qatar Aviation Academy signed Memorandum of Cooperation
The Memorandum was signed by the Rector of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) Sergey Novikov and the general director of the Academy Sheikh Jabor bin Hamad Al-Thani. An exchange of views and practices preceded the signing of the document. The participants of the meeting spoke about their universities, discussed issues of educational and scientific interaction.
Education and science are a promising new vector of cooperation between Qatar and Russia. Moreover, the education sector is one of the key directions of the strategic development of Qatar until 2030 (Qatar National Vision 2030). According to this program, the country has set the task of creating a world-class education system.
"However, the pandemic has shown the necessity to create systems that give rise to leaders of the future, better prepared for uncertainty and unpredictability. Therefore, it is necessary to transform schools and rethink leadership programs," the representatives of the Qatar delegation stated.
Transformation is also on the agenda of the USATU. According to the Rector Sergey Novikov, moving forward requires broad international cooperation, the exchange of advanced knowledge and practices. Furthermore, it is fundamentally vital to create a stable space that contributes to the disclosure of students' potential and the training of world-class specialists by the university.
Sergey Novikov invited his colleagues from Qatar to visit USATU and received a counteroffer to pay a visit to the Academy.
