National Orchestra of Folk Instruments will give concert on Children's Day
On June 1, International Children's Day, the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments (NONI) of the Republic of Bashkortostan will hold a charity concert. All funds raised from ticket sales will be directed to the Foundation for the Welfare of Severely Ill Children "Special Children".
"The proceeds from the concert will help to undergo rehabilitation courses for children aged from 2 months to 2.5 years. Therefore, having bought tickets, the audience will not only enjoy the wonderful music but will also do a great good deed," the organizers of the concert said.
On this day, at 7.00 pm, the orchestra directed by the laureate of international and All-Russian competitions, conductor Rinat Mukhametzyanov will present the program "Soundtrack from NONI". The program includes tunes from famous motion pictures, computer games, and Disney cartoons: Harry Potter, Gladiator, The Lord of the Rings, Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, The Elder Scrolls V. Skyrim, Frozen. Spectators will hear the best world hits performed with Bashkir folk instruments: kurai, kyl-kubyz, dumbyra, yatagan.
The concert will also feature T. Sayfullin State Academic Choir of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the leading soloists of the Philharmonic Society — Polina Kobets, Siyavush Shermatzade, Gulshat Girfanova, and the vocal ensemble "Festa". This program was first presented to the audience at the end of February this year and was sold out.
Organizers of the event are the Charitable Foundation for Aid Seriously Ill Children "Special Children", the Regional Executive Committee of the Bashkortostan Regional Branch of the United Russia Party, the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan (art director and chief conductor — Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Linar Davletbaev) and the H. Akhmetov Bashkir State Philharmonic Society.
