Ufa beat Arsenal and retained its RPL registration
The fans of the football clubs Ufa and Arsenal waited for the start of the 30th round match at the Neftyanik Stadium for two hours. The game was postponed due to the unbearable heat. The temperature reached +39 C in Ufa.
The trainees of Alexey Stukalov and Dmitry Parfenov entered the field knowing about Rubin and Rotor’s draw (1: 1). FC Ufa, thus, was in the 15th line with 22 points, and Volgograd — in the saving 14th. The Bashkiria team needed a breakthrough at the start of the match. Already in the seventh minute, Oleg Ivanov opened the scoring with a free-kick. However, Arsenal did not step back and responded in the 34th minute with an accurate shot of Evans Kangwa after a pass from Lomovitskiy — 1: 1.
Before the break, the Neftyanik Stadium saw another goal to Yegor Shamov’s net. Defender Maxim Belyaev deflected a goal into his own net — 2: 1.
In the second half, Tula remained outnumbered. Gia Grigalava, out of the blue, hit Bauer in the legs and received a red card.
FC Ufa won the victory and retained its registration in the RPL, having taken 13th place.
As a reminder, the play-offs were canceled by the decision of the RFU because the league did not license the Orenburg and Alania teams. Next season, Krylia Sovetov and Nizhny Novgorod will play in the Russian Premier League instead of Rotor and Tambov.
