Biological waste processing plant worth 2 billion rubles will be built in Bashkiria
JSC Russian Proteins Ufa will direct 2 billion rubles to construct a plant for processing biological waste at the Kumertau priority development area. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has included the company in the register of residents of priority development areas, the government's press service of the republic reports.
The company plans to build a plant to process raw materials of animal origin and the production of feed meal and animal fats. The total area will be 90.6 thousand square meters. The main consumers of feed flour and animal fats will be feed factories, poultry farms, pig-breeding complexes, bakery plants, canning industry enterprises, soap and perfumery and cosmetic enterprises, fur farms, enterprises producing pet food.
"Currently, there is no enterprise in the Republic of Bashkortostan that utilizes biological waste. The implementation of the project will make it possible to accomplish the important task of improving the environmental situation, which was outlined in the Address of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The new production will create over 100 new jobs. The investment project is planned to be implemented during 2021-2030," the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB — Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy, Rustam Muratov, said.
