Excess of permissible concentrations of dust and cumene was detected in Ufa
In Ufa, an excess of concentrations in the air for several pollutants was recorded.
According to the department for monitoring atmospheric air pollution of the Bashhydrometeorological Center, on April 27 at 7 am at the control station at Zlobin Street, 11, the concentration of dust in the air was recorded at the level of 1.8 MPC.
At 1 pm on the same day, an excess of the dust content in the air was also recorded at the control station at Svoboda Street, 44. The concentration was 1.1 MPC.
At 7 pm on the same day, an excess of the concentration of the pollutant cumene at the level of 2.1 MPC was registered at the control station at Ulyanovyh Street 57.
Ufa residents in social media also report an increased concentration of dust in many areas of the city.
Cumene is used as a high-octane additive to motor fuel. Cumene (isopropylbenzene) is an aromatic organic compound, a colorless flammable liquid, practically insoluble in water, miscible with alcohol, ether, benzene.
