Miras Ensemble returned from Sharjah Heritage Days International Festival in UAE
The Miras Song and Dance Ensemble has returned from the 18th International Festival Sharjah Heritage Days in the United Arab Emirates. During this time, the artists gave 22 performances and presented Bashkortostan and Russia's culture to the festival's guests.
According to the team's press service, the Miras ensemble showed various Bashkir dances in the United Arab Emirates. Performances were held daily. In addition to ballet dancers, the orchestra of the Miras ensemble also went to Sharjah.
Bashkir costumes, women's jewelry, rich furs of Bashkir headdresses traditionally aroused great interest.
During the entire festival, Sharjah residents and guests were able to get acquainted with the culture of Bashkortostan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Montenegro, India, Bulgaria, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Pakistan. Every day there were performances by dance ensembles, spectators watched the process of manufacturing traditional handicrafts, and visited a vast number of stands with national costumes and souvenirs. Within the festival framework, Miras visited the city of Kalba, an exclamation of the Sharjah emirate.
During the trip, the Miras ensemble musicians still managed to record two compositions in the Heritage Institute studio in the UAE. The studio has invited the musicians of the best ensembles of the festival to make records. Over the past five years, the organizers have recorded music from Paraguay, Ukraine, Argentina, and many other countries; for the entire existence of this tradition, compositions have been recorded from about 60 countries. The organizers' wish was to record the authentic music of Bashkortostan and the national music of the regions of the Middle East. They chose the melody "Kayum Kart" for recording from the ensemble's repertoire.
Also, Miras won the audience's attention in the online format; one of the group's performances was watched by over 25 thousand social media users.
Simultaneously, the Miras ensemble's main team performed with a different program in the districts of Bashkortostan. The team visited Sharan, Mishkino, Beloretsk, Uchaly, Askarovo, Baymak, and Isyangulovo. On April 29, the concert will take place in the village of Arkhangelskoye of the Republic of Bashkortostan and will be dedicated to International Dance Day.
