Health Minister of Bashkiria Maxim Zabelin has been vaccinated against coronavirus
The Health Minister of Bashkiria, Maxim Zabelin, has been vaccinated against the coronavirus with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
"I have been vaccinated," he told reporters. "I feel great; I do not see any side effects."
The Minister also noted that now there was a decrease in the incidence rate in the republic. The number of hospital beds for patients with coronavirus was also reduced.
"At the moment, the situation with COVID-19 is relatively calm but alarming. To prevent the third wave is to observe anti-epidemic measures by the population and have the vaccination. Summer is coming, and everyone wants to have rest, change their scenery, travel, and expand the boundaries of their communication. I advise the residents of the republic to make a choice of a reasonable modern person — to be vaccinated," he addressed the residents of the republic.
"Healthy Republic — Healthy Region" campaign will start in the republic from next week. Ufa specialists will conduct an on-site medical examination in remote rural areas, focusing on the vaccination of people with limited mobility who cannot go to the regional hospital and people with chronic diseases, and the elderly.
