Air traffic between Russia and Turkey is limited from April 15 to June 1
Russia restricts regular and charter flights with Turkey for the period from April 15 to June 1. On April 12, Izvestia reported this citing the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Golikova.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, explained that Russians bring various strains of the coronavirus infection from trips to Turkey. Since the beginning of the year, 80% of COVID-19 cases have come from the republic.
Turkey has recorded a rapid rise in the incidence of COVID-19 since mid-March.
