Alexey Stukalov is officially appointed as FC Ufa head coach
Ufa football club has officially announced the signing of a contract with a new head coach. It is 37-year-old Alexey Stukalov, who had previously left a similar post in the Moscow club "Veles". According to the press service of the Bashkir team, the contract is valid until June 2023.
Alexey Borisovich Stukalov was born on November 24, 1983 in Stavropol. He began his career in the sports school of the Moscow club "Smena", where until 2007 he held the position of a coach-teacher. From 2007 to 2008, he coached the Spasatel team, with which he competed at the Moscow region's championship.
Since 2009, he worked in the Khimki club. In 2016, he became an assistant to Igor Zakharyak in the Kaliningrad Baltika. After that, he worked as an assistant coach and mentor in the Saratov Sokol. Under his leadership, the team reached the eighth place in the Center zone.
January 14, 2019, Alexey Stukalov headed Veles. At the end of the 2019/20 season, the club took first place in the West Zone of the Professional Football League championship and entered the Football National League for the first time in history.
