Federal center for standardization and testing in machine tool building is planned to be created in Ufa
In Ufa, as part of the Russian Industrial Forum, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, during a meeting with the head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) Anton Shalaev, discussed the possibility of creating a standardization and testing center for machine tool building in Ufa.
The center will be able to check all industrial machines imported into the country. The capacity of the computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools market in the country is more than 120 billion rubles a year. At the same time, Bashkortostan retained the most developed machine tool industry in the country. The republic can produce CNC machines for a total amount of up to 20 billion rubles a year.
"Light industry is widely represented at the exhibition in Ufa today," Anton Shalaev noted. "There are various types of school uniforms among the exhibits."
The Head of Rosstandart noted that the standard for a uniform was adopted in Russia in September 2020to ensure school clothes' quality and safety. To further develop the market for high-quality goods, it is necessary to create the necessary testing base in Bashkortostan.
At the meeting, it was proposed to open a laboratory of an interregional Testing Center in Ufa, which will deal with state certification of textile products manufactured at Bashkortostan enterprises and the entire Volga Federal District.
Recall that in March 2020, the Government of Bashkortostan approved a plan of priority measures to develop the republic's light industry for 2020-2024. In 2020, 46 regional light industry organizations received state support of 100 million rubles to subsidize part of the cost of purchasing raw materials and 41 enterprises — 60 million rubles to reimburse part of the cost of production equipment and software.
