Three industrial clusters are planned to be created in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, it is planned to create three industrial clusters — aviation, agro-industrial, furniture. Also, there are conditions for the creation of a petrochemical, engineering, and light industry cluster in the region. Andrey Shpilenko, head of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of the Russian Federation, spoke about this on air at RBC-Ufa.
Industrial cooperation will allow the authorities to analyze the existing production chains, the availability of raw materials and materials, sales markets, assess the investment attractiveness, after which investors can be invited.
"Industrial clusters are a set of industrial enterprises, between which there are functional links. Cluster is not just a beautiful word; it is a legal status. Each enterprise that becomes a member of an industrial cluster gets the opportunity to subsidize up to 30% of the costs incurred for the implementation of the investment project," Shpilenko explained in an interview with the channel.
He noted that business treats such instruments with distrust, but now "the mechanism for implementing the cluster policy has appeared in the law on industrial policy, which means a guarantee from the state."
