Almost half of last year's rural mortgage volume was achieved in Bashkiria for I quarter
Bashkortostan is the leader in the preferential rural mortgage program. In the country as a whole, most of the transactions are concluded in the Volga Federal District, Rosreestr reported. Since the beginning of the year, 1118 contracts have been registered in Bashkiria under the rural mortgage program. In 2020, 2,543 rural mortgage contracts were concluded. Simultaneously, participants in the preferential program began to prefer the purchase of finished housing: in 2020, 1,753 titles were registered, and in the first quarter of 2021 — 1,215 titles.
The rural mortgage was most in-demand among residents of Iglinsky, Ufimsky, Abzelilovsky, Karmaskalinsky, Tuimazinsky, Buzdyaksky, Chishminsky, and Yanaulsky districts.
In the rural mortgage program, conditions have changed since 2021, the department recalled. Within the program's framework, it is no longer possible to buy housing in higher than five-floor buildings; you can use maternity capital for a down payment. In the purchased housing, you must register within 180 days after registration of ownership and inform the bank about it; otherwise, the bank has the right to increase the loan rate. Also, the rate can be increased if the loan was issued for the construction of a house and it was not built in two years, experts explained.
