HC Salavat Yulaev signed Manninen and retained Finnish attack line
Salavat Yulaev ice hockey club has officially extended the contract with the forward Sakari Manninen. The new contract between the Bashkir team and the center forward is calculated until April 30, 2023. Thus, the Ufa team retained the foreign players' line. Hartikainen and Granlund's contracts are settled until the end of next season.
“I am very happy and glad that we have signed a new contract. I considered offers only from Salavat Yulaev and wanted to continue playing in Ufa,” Manninen said.
In the 2020/2021 KHL regular championship, Manninen played 55 matches, in which he scored 52 (19 + 33) points with "+18", 10 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, he has 5 (2 + 3) points in nine games, "+5" and 6 penalty minutes.
