Bashkiria presented its tourism potential at Intourmarket brighter than all regions
The Republic of Bashkortostan's stand was recognized as the brightest at the 16th International Tourism Exhibition "Intourmarket". The organizers awarded the State Tourism Committee with a diploma to preserve the cultural and historical heritage and the brightest presentation of the territory's tourist potential. The Bashkir stand, located in an area of 90 square meters, has become one of the most popular at the exhibition with its offers of summer trips. It presented sightseeing and author's excursions around Ufa, ethnographic tour "Following the footsteps of Przhevalsky's equestrian-geographical expedition", "Narystau", "Real Bashkiria", "Hunting for wild honey", horse routes from a tour operator, jeep tours, "VeloRussia" tours, "Toratau" and "Yangan-Tau" geoparks, children's tours "Survive in the forest", "Trekking to Toratau", "Rainbow" camp and children's kumis therapy tour "Irandyk".
The Center for Tourism Development RB organized the stand and participants' work in the tourism industry of Bashkortostan. Visitors to the republican stand were able to treat themselves to fragrant tea, try on and buy souvenirs from the republic's best artisans — jewelry, hats, shawls, ceramics, leather goods, and more. The cultural and entertainment program with the participation of the kurai player Azat Bikchurin, the Ak Tirme folklore ensemble, and the dancer Robert Khamidullin gave a special flavor of the exposition.
The presentation of the development project of the all-season ski resort "Mratkino", the "Toratau" and "Yangan-Tau" Geoparks aroused interest among the exhibition participants and visitors: more than 60 Russian tour operators and travel agents visited it. The average traffic of the Terra Bashkiria stand was more than 700 people per day.
The stand was visited by the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, Zarina Doguzova. Elmira Tukanova, the Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan, held negotiations with Rosturizm, Megafon, tour operators of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Kaliningrad at the exhibition. Agreements have been concluded on the organization of information tours for the media, tour operators, and bloggers.
Elmira Tukanova also held several meetings with the heads of the industry departments for tourism of the Chelyabinsk, Murmansk, Tyumen, and Sverdlovsk regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The Republic of Bashkortostan's tourism development center signed cooperation agreements with the Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, and Nalchik.
