Miras Ufa ensemble musicians made recordings in UAE Heritage Institute studio
The musicians of the Miras Ensemble recorded two compositions in the studio of the Heritage Institute in Sharjah. For more than 10 years, the studio has been collecting national music from different countries; it invites musicians of the festival's best ensembles to record.
Over the past five years, the organizers have recorded music from Paraguay, Ukraine, Argentina, and many other countries. They donate CDs with music to partners of CIOFF and other foreign cultural organizations. During the entire existence of this tradition, compositions have been recorded from about 60 countries. The organizers wanted to record the authentic music of Bashkortostan and the national music of the regions of the Middle East. They chose the "Kayum kart" melody for recording from the ensemble's repertoire.
“The original recording of the Iraqi song "Rah w Mesha" was received by the artists late in the evening the day before the recording, which was scheduled for the next morning. The work went on professionally. The organizers and musicians were satisfied with the work done; they managed to find creative contact literally from the recording's first minutes. We will wait with interest for the final result after the studio mixing,” the musician of the Miras Ensemble Igor Navalikhin comments.
From April 3 to 10, the Miras Song and Dance Ensemble takes part in the festival in the city of Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates. The 18th Heritage Days festival is being held there these days.
