Bashkiria will apply best digitalization practices of St. Petersburg
In St. Petersburg, the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, Andrei Nazarov, met with the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov. The parties discussed cooperation issues in the field of IT, medicine, and city management technologies.
As Andrei Nazarov emphasized, Bashkiria is interested in the rich experience of St. Petersburg in the field of digitalization.
"We are now completing the creation of our Regional Management Center and would like to use the best practices developed by St. Petersburg specialists," he said.
In turn, Alexander Beglov expressed confidence that interaction in this area would help Bashkiria successfully implement its plans for the region's digitalization.
The meeting participants also discussed interregional cooperation in tourism since St. Petersburg and Bashkiria attract many tourists from different regions of Russia.
Alexander Beglov said that St. Petersburg is ready to build a constructive dialogue with Bashkiria.
"We have long-standing ties. Bashkiria sheltered Leningrad residents during the city siege and helped them. The republic continues to help veterans and siege survivors", he marked.
