The ballet master-director of both performances is Rinat Abushakhmanov; the composer is Nikolay Popov. The ballet "The Light of an Extinguished Star" is based on the Bashkir legend "Yuraktau" ("Heart-Mountain") and acquaints the audience with the culture, traditions of Bashkiria, priceless melodic heritage embodied in modern forms and genres of musical and choreographic art.
