Russian government will allocate 9 billion rubles for social workers payments
Over 9 billion rubles will be allocated for payments to social institutions employees who work in shift mode with patients with coronavirus and people at risk.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed this order. The funds will go towards providing special payments in the first half of 2021.
They are intended for those who care for the wards of nursing homes, boarding schools for the disabled, and other social organizations.
Due to the coronavirus situation, their work shift now lasts 14 days, and during this time, employees must remain within the institution.
The Ministry of Finance was instructed to report on the targeted spending of funds by February 1, 2022.
